Eight days ago, I experienced the rush of winning my first ever NaNoWriMo.
If you’ve been following the blog, you know that anyone who manages to write fifty thousand words or more of their novel during the month of November is named a ‘winner’. And I did it. The question is, what happens next?
Do I follow the indie publishing route using one of the excellent resources now available, or do I begin pitching my novel to agents and editors? That remains to be seen. I’d love your feedback on the whole trad publishing vs indie debate.
And you, faithful readers, will be the first to know when my first novel becomes available, regardless of the final format. What a thought!
Will I do NaNoWriMo again in 2015? Right now, the answer is ‘Yes!’ We will see what the next year brings, but I would not trade those sleepless, caffeine-crazed nights for anything. Why not join in? I’d love to see your story in print, too.
Moving on to the next goal, with His help,
Kate
